Answer the Call for a National Day of Service

President-Elect Barack Obama has called on the entire nation to participate in a National Day of Service in conjunction with his inauguration.

Please sign up to participate in a Community Service Project in your neighborhood anytime during the Martin Luther King holiday weekend, Saturday January 17th through Monday January 19th, 2009.


You can collaborate with local organizations such as food banks, faith based communities, environmental groups and non-profits or create a service project entirely from scratch. Trust Funds for the Nunn and Wilson Children

Services for Erik and Tanya Nunn were held on Saturday, July 5th at 10  AM, at Golden Hills Community Church, 2401 Shady Willow Lane, Brentwood. Services for Craig and Michelle Wilson were held July 3rd at 11AM.

Trust funds have been set up by the City of Oakley to help the orphaned childred of the Nunn and Wilson families.  Please give generously.
